Radio Silence

I’ll be back in Londonium tomorrow, testing out some new technology and unknown to the public.  Ohhh go me, fancy pants getting into these things.  I wonder if I’ll be able to speak about it or have the dreaded NDA to sign?  Music has continued to be on the backburner.  I listen to more podcasts then ever, I suppose I’m trying to plug the thirst for knowledge.

Gig tickets are becoming pricier for no reason, so I’ve been put off recently (*cough* Roger Waters *cough*). Strange how more than 6 months have passed without a few hours of live music in me.  However I plan to change that in July with 2 possible nights, guess what there’s an Aqualung gig.  The more interesting of the two is that Daniel Lanois is touring with a band he’s formed called “Black Dub“.  It’s got soul and that’s what I need right now, if anyone cares to join me I’ll be at the Jazz Cafe gig on 27th July with a glass of wine or some go getting bitter.

Did I ever mention that I’d happily have Mark Lamarr on the radio all night? Oh well that’s for another time, you’ll find me in the garden for now.

UPDATE 08/06/10 : Daniel Lanois has been involved in a motorbike crash and is currently in an Intensive Care Unit.  Subsequently all gigs have been cancelled.  Get well soon Dan.
