Remember the gig I took photos of and shared 1 video of? Well because Neil’s music has been getting me through what can only be called unemployment in the Biomed field, I thought I’d share some more. I eventually forked out the $60 (not bloody cheap!) to get into the vimeo HD ecosystem, so here are the videos from the Neil McSweeney gig at The Luminaire for his “Shoreline” album Launch.

Great gig, great man, wish he toured more often.
The reason you hear someone shouting “Neil!” is because of an anecdote Neil spoke about where the last time he heard a name from the audience in London someone threw a bottle at him, for which he just managed to duck. So everytime he hears his name he has a rapid response of ducking :P So everyone shouted “NEIL!” at him just after this leading to the hilarious dance routine of ducking.
At the moment YouTube is butchering HD videos produced from my new toy (just remembered I shall have to take pictures of the kit), so I’m entrusting Vimeo with them. However I can only do 1 HD upload a week which is a downer & I’m not really willing to cough up for the + account they offer to have unlimited. I think what I’m trying to say is bear with me if you like the music you’ve heard from above, I have about half an hours more worth of video for your delectation.
